This is a 3D model of Mjolnir, Thor’s iconic hammer, created as a tribute to one of the most legendary weapons in mythology and pop culture. Designed in 2014, this project was an opportunity to explore the PBR (Physically-Based Rendering) workflow for achieving a highly realistic result.
High-Poly Sculpt: Crafted in ZBrush to capture fine details and achieve a powerful, rugged aesthetic.
Retopology: Optimized in Maya to create a game-ready model without compromising detail.
Texturing: Substance Painter was used to bring life to the hammer with realistic textures, emphasizing the worn metallic surfaces and intricate engravings.
Tools Used:
ZBrush for sculpting
Maya for retopology
Substance Painter for PBR texturing
This project reflects my early exploration of PBR techniques and my passion for crafting iconic props with attention to detail and realism.
